Most importantly, you have to consider the safety standards for your baby. So be sure to pick the right one. A safe baby crib needs to have a tight fitting mattress and it has to be firm. According to statistics the crib should not be more than 2 3/8" apart and the corner posts should not be higher than 1/16".
